Get up. Get dressed. Go to work. Put food on the table. Clean the house. Go to bed.
Our daily routine happens almost on autopilot.
Take this moment to remember the last time you felt truly grateful for the life you live. Gratitude has been shown to increase both physical and psychological health, enhance empathy, reduce aggression, and can even act as a sleep aid. November is definitely a month for gratitude, containing both Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving.
This Saturday, we are reminded of the reason we are able to live the lives we live. Our Veteran and Active-Duty Service Members have kept, and continue to keep us safe in both war- and peace-time. They make the ultimate sacrifice, so that we might try to make for ourselves, any life we wish to live.
Here at River Pointe, one of our favorite ways to celebrate and show our gratitude is with food! As such, we will be hosting a Men’s Breakfast in honor of Veteran’s Day, and our annual Thanksgiving meal with residents and their family members.
We hope you will join us in this month of gratitude, remembering all the good in life, and thanking those who have given us true liberty.
