Pain free movement is an important factor in quality of life. River Pointe of Moorhead is teaming up with Rehab4Life to improve movement. As people age, their balance can become weak. The goal of a physical therapist is to promote the residents ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. On Friday January 6th Roger Stroh, founder of Rehab4Life will present an information session to residents; “Fall Prevention and Safety.”
Rehab4Life along with many other physical therapists comes to River Pointe of Moorhead on a weekly base to work with residents individually in their own home. The Physical Therapists work directly with the resident and nursing staff to encourage and promote quality physical movement. The Physical Therapists are highly educated experts in the movement and function of the human body. Physical therapy is an essential element of resident care at River Pointe of Moorhead, by establishing strong exercise and functional training partnerships.
